English Overview

Our English curriculum has been on an exciting journey since September 2023. In response to our performance in writing and reading, we have joined the Talk for Writing Project. This is a long-term project that supports Wenlock in it's approach to the teaching of writing and reading, where we are supported by a Talk for Writing consultant and training is regularly delivered to staff through INSET days, consultancy days and conference activities. As of October 2024, we will be progressing within our journey by beginning our use of the Talk fo Reading principles to aid our teaching of reading.
